Our Team

We are " Gyopo " (교포)

The Korean term " Gyopo " (교포) refers to ethnic Koreans who were born outside Korea or have lived abroad for extended periods of time.

We often find ourselves at the crossroads of two cultures: we often have a deep connection with their Korean roots and heritage, but are also strongly integrated into the customs, languages and values of the country we live in. This can lead to a unique identity that beautifully bridges the gap between the Netherlands and Korea, and between tradition and modernity.

We see ourselves playing an important role in the dissemination of Korean culture in the Netherlands, while at the same time acting as cultural translators and bridge builders between Korea and the Netherlands.

Kevin Han

As a young " Gyopo" in the Netherlands, entrepreneurship is a journey of connection, innovation and ambition. Born in Korea and raised in the Netherlands, Kevin carries a rich heritage of Korean values such as perseverance, hard work and respect for tradition, while at the same time being deeply rooted in the Dutch culture of freedom, creativity and entrepreneurship.

In this unique position, Kevin is not only an entrepreneur, but also a bridge builder. He combines the precision and drive of your Korean background with the innovation and openness that characterizes the Netherlands. This gives him a sharp eye to see new opportunities, build a broad network and find creative solutions to challenges in the business world.

As a young entrepreneur in the Netherlands, he not only creates a successful business, but also gives a new face to what it means to be a "Gyopo".

Kevin embraces both worlds, building on his parents' rich cultural heritage and integrating it into a modern, cosmopolitan context.

Jung In Kwon

Jung In Kwon, originally from Busan, South Korea, and raised in the Netherlands, is a young entrepreneur with a unique path that combines his Korean and Dutch backgrounds. Jung In is known for his analytical approach. Before embarking on something new, he carefully evaluates ideas and looks for strong, compelling reasons to start a project. He wants to understand their impact and significance and only makes decisions when he is confident that the initiative will add value. This thoughtful approach sets him apart and ensures that he stays focused on quality and relevance, without getting carried away by trends without a solid foundation.

From a young age, Jung In was fascinated by design and innovation, but his dual background taught him to look at innovation with a critical eye. During his visits to Korea, he saw how quickly industries were developing, but also how important it was to maintain a focused vision. These experiences shaped his approach; he believes that every idea needs a strong foundation before it can be realized.

Jung In’s ability to combine thoroughness and strategic thinking with creativity makes him an exceptional young entrepreneur in the Netherlands. As a “Gyopo” he cherishes his dual identity and uses it as a strength to integrate both Korean and Dutch values into his vision. His critical attitude ensures that his projects are not only innovative, but also meaningful – an inspiring example for others who strive for impactful innovation.
